65% growth in cybercrime reports in 2019
A total of 4,703 cybercrime offenses were registered in 2019. This equates to an average of almost 13 crimes per day. Almost 13 percent of Dutch people aged 15 or older were victims of cybercrime last year. Amsterdam is – from a national point of view – the least secure online; a total of 300 internet offenses were registered here.
